OnRoute provided by Waveform Solutions based in Dublin, Ireland is a suite of mobility solutions for various vertical markets, OnRoute will improve your ability to communicate and exchange critical business data with any worker in the field
The OnRoute solution comprises of a SQL server based solution and .NET based client software which runs on Rugged Mobile Computers such as the Dolphin 7900 and the Motorola MC75.
Field based staff are equipped with a Rugged Mobile Computer and if needed a Rugged Mobile Printer. The handheld device is GPRS enabled complete with a data and/or voice SIM card, this enables real time connection with the OnRoute back office server over any GPRS mobile network (Vodafone, 02, Meteor,3).
As the field based worker carries out transactions and collects data on the handheld this information is relayed back to the OnRoute back office database in real time, this ensures that your company is completely up to date with all transactions which are being carried out by your remote workers, also the OnRoute system will eliminate the need for costly paperwork such as docket books, delivery sheets etc.
The OnRoute solution also includes a web based module which allows your clients to log onto your website to see recent transactions on their account; this could include details of a visit by an engineer or delivery details and an actual copy of the Proof of Delivery (POD) signature.
