This is a product we know will reduce operational costs, increase picking accuracy and enhance safety on the factory floor.
One of the real strengths and unique features of Speakeasy is its multi-modal data input capabilities. Unlike some other voice solutions out there, we do not require our customers to go 100% voice input. In fact, we believe that there are times when voice input is best, times when scanned input is best, and times when key input is best. The art of developing a sustainable voice solution is finding the optimal mix of voice, scanning, and key input for the given implementation.
As we continue to work diligently on Wavelink Speakeasy, we are listening to all of our customers who are out there using it. Based on some of the recent feedback, we have improved the voice calibration tool in Speakeasy, which makes it easier to configure Speakeasy to the particular user and their environment. The improvements include a voice recorder that allows a recording of a user’s voice to be analyzed for advanced configuration and troubleshooting.
One of the lesser known, yet significant, features in Speakeasy is the ability for end-users to adjust the volume and cadence of the incoming speech commands on demand. A user can simply do this by speaking into the microphone, thereby adding further hands-free capability to Speakeasy. If a user needs the volume louder, they can simply say ‘volume louder’ until the volume reaches the level they desire. Likewise, if a user needs the text-to-speech voice to speak slower, they can decrease the cadence by saying ‘speak slower’ until the voice reaches the desired cadence.
