Waveform launch OnRoute POD
Solution
Dynamic Solution for Courier/Delivery
companies
 Waveform are pleased to
announce the launch of the OnRoute Proof of
Delivery (POD) onto the Irish market. OnRoute POD provides
logistics/courier companies with a mobile based
solution to track items from collection onto the
van/truck and to the clients premises.
OnRoute POD uses the latest
Dolphin mobile computers from Honeywell and
receipt printers from Zebra Technologies. Users
can scan items for collection and then ultimately
deliver the item to it's destination while
capturing a signature from the consignee on the
Dolphin mobile computer screen. All information is
transmitted back to a central server in
real-time using GPRS
communications.
OnRoute POD is the latest
module to be added to the OnRoute suite of
Enterprise Mobile Solutions, current modules
include Field Force, Van Sales and Asset
Track.

Cisco introduce the 1250 into its award
winning Aironet line up

to support the IEEE 802.11n draft 2.0 standard.
